The Farmer’s Market opened May 3 for the 2012 season. The market will be held every Thursday from 2 PM-6 PM from now through the month of October. We have a wonderful variety of vendors this year. They include:
●Becky’s Pastries: fresh baked breads and scones. No artificial ingredients
●Pinky Monkey: artisan jewelry
●Mariem Arze: plants, produce, hand knit Boivian items
●Tyson’s Farm: locally grown fruits and vegetables
●The Pure Olive: Greek olive oil, plain and flavor infused; olives; olive oil soap; chocolate made with olive oil
●Wild Mountain Honey: local honey, beeswax candles
●Suzie’s Sunday Treats: baked goods: cookies, cobblers, pies, chicken pot pies-organic, local and natural ingredients
●Uncle Fred’s BBQ Smoke Shack: BBQ ribs (baby backs and regular), chicken, brisket, pulled pork and chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad
●Alice Snyder: vegetables, baked goods, jams (new)
STARTING LATER IN MAY:
●Wild Tree: herb blends, seasoning, breads, and other food products (new)
●John Wells: plants
STARTING MID JUNE (after school ends):
●Jane’s Jelly: mild and hot pepper jellies, salsa
●Laura Crowne: herbs, pesto, saganaki, blueberry buckle
●Rhonda Fowler: cut flowers, canned/jarred items, produce
